4/2/24 Good Morning Volunteers!
I have some bitter sweet news to announce. Unfortunately, my last day as volunteer coordinator is April 5th 2024. I have accepted a new position and will be leaving Power Packs Project. I have loved working with every single one of you. All of the hard work you have done has made a difference in the community's lives and my own. I do ask throughout this transition to please be patient and kind to the rest of the staff. They are working diligently to find a new volunteer coordinator. 3/8/24 Summer Distribution Program SAVE THE DATE Monday, June 17th until August 15th
I know it might seem a bit early to talk about summer but it will be here faster than we know it. I thought it would be best to tell you our dates now. Think about these dates and get back to me. All volunteers please RSVP by June 1st if you will be available to assist in the following areas: Warehouse packing, Driving, Distribution Site Liaisons (minimum 2 people per site). Wednesday volunteering will continue as normal 2/14/24. Lancaster Warehouse/ Office volunteers please arrive by 8:30AM. Thank you!

OPEN VOLUNTEER SPOTS
Distribution Volunteer Driver:
Must be available Wednesdays to pick up Power Packs boxes, produce, milk from Power Packs Warehouse located at 1915 Olde Homestead Lane Lancaster PA and deliver items to assigned location. Must have a large capacity vehicle. Must be able to pick up minimum 10lbs boxes and heavier distribution items. In the following locations:
WHARTON ELEMENTARY 1:20 WH PICK UP
WICKERSHAM ELEMENATRY 2:20 WH PICK UP
Distribution Volunteer Liaisons:
(1-2 volunteers) with the assistance of school liaison will manage all distribution at the site, giving packs to participants, recording pick up, obtaining TEFAP forms and returning all forms and leftover items to warehouse at end of distribution. Interested individuals must be available every WEDNESDAY 2:30PM-4:00 PM. In the following locations:

I hope you are all doing well. As we all know warehouse packing in the Lebanon warehouse is suspended till further notice. Distribution, Car Loading, Driving, and Liaison volunteering are still operating as normal. Please email me your January-May 2024 volunteer schedule by replying back to the email you were sent. Please specify you are volunteering with the Lebanon team. There is no power pack distribution 12/27/23 & 12/28/23. Please email me if you have any questions or concerns.
