Lancaster Volunteer Opportunities:
Here is something that should shock you: nearly 20,000 Lancaster children don’t know where or when they’ll find their next meal. In Lancaster City alone, more than 71% of the district’s 11,300 students qualify for free school meals under the federal guidelines.
Now more than ever, volunteers have been the backbone of success to the Power Packs Project and we need your help. You’ll know you’re having a positive effect on someone’s life after delivering a nutritious food package to the family of a child in need of a better learning experience.
We are seeking volunteers for the warehouse, school distribution and administrative support.
We love hosting groups, whether it is a corporate bonding event, a group of friends looking to give back, or whatever you have in mind. We tailor projects to the size and abilities of your group and the needs of our organization at that time.
